About

A bridge between memory and voice.

Narate Keys is a Khmer poet and spoken word artist based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, whose work centers on storytelling, cultural memory, and identity shaped by migration and community. Through poetry, performance, music, and visual art, she explores themes of resilience, belonging, and self-discovery.

For Keys poetry serves as both a personal outlet and a bridge to others, an expensive space where she first found encouragement and continues to honor her lives experience.

As a performer, Keys has presented her work across Minnesota and beyond, including inWashington, D.C., and at venues like The Loft Literary Center and Springboard for the Arts. Supported by arts grants, she continues expanding into theater and music, including co-directing Apsara: The Musical in 2025. She is currently collaborating with MN Fringe Festival to produce her second musical, Preah Mae Thorani (an Earth Goddess)
